Seoul and Abu Dhabi have launched a unified AI task force to accelerate cross-border technology and infrastructure development. The initiative, announced after a high-level summit between South Korean President Lee Jae Myung and UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, marks a shift from traditional bilateral agreements to a coordinated, multi-layered innovation system.

Five ministry-led working groups will design proposals for joint AI and energy-tech projects by year-end. South Korea is also bolstering its role in the UAE's Stargate AI data-center program, a multi-gigawatt initiative. The new framework signals a deepening, long-term partnership between Asia and the Middle East in AI and digital infrastructure.
